Swedish Massage

Swedish massage involves a combination of five basic strokes and concentrates on the muscles and connective tissues of the body for improved circulation. In many cases Swedish massage promotes revelation, easing muscle tension and creates other health benefits.                   

Deep Tissue

By utilizing slow strokes, direct friction is applied across the grain of the muscles using the fingers, thumbs or elbows. By physically beak down these adhesion it relieves pain and restores normal movement. This method releases chronic aches & pains by reaching the fascia beneath the surface muscles. Perfect for chronically tense & contracted areas such as stiff necks, low back tightness, sore shoulders, chronic pain, limited mobility & sports injury.

Shiatsu massage

Shiatsu massage is a Japanese form of massage therapy similar to acupressure; in fact, the word shiatsu literally means " finger pressure." As with acupressure, the concepts of shiatsu hold that it can promote health and facilitate healing by correcting energy imbalances in the body. There imbalances are corrected by applying pressure to specific points along channels in the body known as meridians. Shiatsu is an excellent form of pain relief.

Soft Tissue Massage

Soft massage is the perfect place to start. Very much like Swedish massage, Soft massage is geared to completely relax and sooth your stress away. Soft massage can be slow and gentle, or vigorous and bracing, depending on your condition. Rather than using oil we use moisturizing lotion/cream to glide through your muscles and extract unwanted tensions.

Hot Stone Massage

Use water-heated stones to apply pressure and heat to the body. Stones coated in oil used by the therapist delivering various massaging strokes to release tension. The stones placed on key acupressure points slowly release heat to calming your mind and spirit, while cleansing toxins from your body.

A couples massage is a wonderfully relaxing, personal experience. During the session, two people receive massages at the same time and in the same room from two different therapists. Using Couples Massage Therapy to connect with our partner can be a very effective way to decrease stress hormone release, and increase some of the positive hormones in our bodies.
